Principal Entertainment Presents: The Reverend Horton Heat Announce Mojo Juju Support & Extra Melbourne Show!

Ahead of the May, 2013 Australian tour by Texan psychobilly legends The Reverend Horton Heat, The Reverend himself has upped the ante and announced that rockin' local gal Mojo Juju will be joining the tour for shows in Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Ferntree Gully including a newly announced extra Melbourne show at Caravan Music in Oakleigh!

Smooth, shiny & loaded with sin. Mojo Juju sings songs that sound like that night you can't quite remember, in that bar you swear you weren't at, with that girl you promise you've never met. Taking influence from (but never mimicking) the sounds of Jump, Hoodoo & Early Blues, Pachuco Boogie, Rock ‘n’ Roll and a
little bit of Bump & Grind, Mojo has created something undeniably her own.

Her debut solo album (released Sept 2012, through ABC/Universal) is a collection of songs based around vice and consequence. They are songs about recklessness and regret, love and lust, infidelity, death, trains, cars and bad, bad hangovers. Dense with imagery of truck stops, diners, dive bars and cheap motels; this is a soundtrack to living life on the road.

The Reverend returns with his white hot band to deliver the good word from the bible of high-octane rock 'n' roll for his Australian disciples this May. A born hell-raiser of the non-manufactured kind The Reverend brings a real sense of danger back to rock 'n' roll, stories of sex, drugs, booze, and cars all set to a breakneck soundtrack of trailer trash guitars, street-level boogie grind and hell bent rhythm and booze.

Bez | Gary Whelan | Mark Day | Paul Ryder | Rowetta | Shaun Ryder

For the first time in Australia- the definitive original line-up!

Ahead of the May 2013 Australian tour by the original line up of Manchester's  Happy Mondays, the band have announced that they will be joined by Joy Division and New Order founding member, and Manchester legend in his own right Peter Hook playing a special DJ set at each Australian show. As a special treat for Melbourne fans the Mondays and Peter Hook will also be joined by Australian indie stalwarts Underground Lovers.

Peter Hook was a key figure in the Madchester scene, a movement which took seed in the infamous Hacienda club, the legendary venue partially funded by Hook's band New Order. The Hacienda was the cultural epicentre of a musical zeitgeist that unified a generation of music fans across the globe. Hook's involvement in the club and Manchester scene along with being a member of two of the most influential acts of all-time will bring even more of the original spirit of Madchester to what will surely be an amzing run of Australian shows.

Through six studio albums, a live compilation, a slew of seminal singles and EPs and several different guises Melbourne's Underground Lovers have been taking listeners on a musical journey since the early 1990's. Recently reforming after an almost decade long hiatus Underground Lovers are back and will bring an even bigger sense of celebration to those lucky to be attending the Monday's Melbourne show.

Fusing the euphoric elements of acid house and rave with joyous indie guitar pop, Manchester's Happy Mondays became one of the most influential UK bands of the later 20th century.  Instigating a cosmic psychedelic shift that is still being felt in music today, the Mondays delivered a salvo of classic tracks and club anthems that were not only highly danceable, but contained enough visceral emotion and raw chemical energy to continually excite and engage a generation.  Tracks like Step On, 24 Hour Party People, Wrote For Luck, Loose Fit and Kinky Afro showcased the band's unique ability to unify the divide between dance music and rock 'n' roll.
