With only days until Sydney Festival 2012 is unleashed throughout the city, STVDIO is thrilled to be your backstage pass to all the biggest names and events. Available online and televised every night at 8.25pm, Foxtel’s arts channel will premiere exclusive behind-the-scenes episodes of Sydney Festival TV beginning this Saturday 7 January.
The STVDIO team will be getting up close and personal with the most exciting events and stars of the 2012 program throughout the three weeks of the Festival. Each nightly episode will give you a dynamic insight into this year’s performances and their creators including Festival First Night, Meow Meow, Megan Washington, iOTA, The Boys, ‘Tis Pity She’s A Whore and many more.

Throughout January STVDIO will also be broadcasting eight special episodes called Australian Innovation, showcasing how an artform transforms from creative concept to an audience. The premiere episodes will feature Sydney Festival’s Artistic Director Lindy Hume interviewing Australian artists including conductor Richard Gill, indigenous playwright and director Wesley Enoch, performer Meow Meow and photographer William Yang.
