Ricky Martin makes in store appearance at Westfield Parramatta, Sydney, Australia - 9th May 2013

Westfield Parramatta was a mass of humanity, as the shopping centre turned into standing room only for popular Voice judge and living legend performing artist Ricky Martin.

Frenzied fans spread across four floors of the shopping centre to see the Latino heartthrob during his two-hour appearance.

The event was thought to be targeted at late-night mother’s day shoppers, however it was a mainly young crowd.

Mr Martin made a secret entrance through a secured loading dock to hit the stage at 6pm sharp. The megastar was there to promote the "souvenir edition" of his Greatest Hits CD and DVD collections.

Music News Australia photographers were on hand to capture the action.

About two dozen security guards were brought in for crowd control along with dozens of police.
